Heavy Hands

In Exodus 17, the congregation has lost their focus, their hope, forgotten God’s blessings, and were looking to what was, instead of looking ahead.  When we forget our blessings and complain, that’s when the enemy attacks.  Moses instructs Joshua to choose out men, to go and fight the against the enemy.  In this message we learn, when life becomes burdensome and heavy, God’s people must put their differences aside and fight together.  They must get under the arms of the hurting, to encourage, and carry if necessary, to insure that no one fights alone. And go from heavy hands, to hands held high.
