Israel is released from captivity and are free to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the temple. After only 3 months, God addresses their sins as they defy the temple building with unclean hands. God also addresses their fears, and encourages them to keep building. For God has given them, and us, the purpose to be a part of the greatest building project ever... His House.
