Our Staff

Randy Johnson serves as Senior Pastor at Valley Forge and is an Elizabethton native.  He announced his call to ministry in 1992 after several years of working with youth, singing, and evangelism.  He became Pastor of Valley Forge in November 1994 and went into full time ministry in 2000 after working in the engineering field for over 16 years.  Randy is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Design Graphics and a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Technology.  Randy married Gina in 1986 and they serve together at Valley Forge.  They have two daughters, two son-in-laws: Megan and her husband Lance Harsh; Natalie and her husband Jeremy Wright.  They also have one son, Andy Johnson who is married to Sydney Hayes Johnson. Randy and Gina have six grandchildren; Neil, Charlie, and Benjamin Harsh and Lucas, Ava, and Seth Wright.  Pastor Randy is passionate about helping people love God and others, learn Christ-like discipleship, and live out a Spirit-filled, abundant life!
